1. Information we collect
When you enrol we collect your name, email address and phone number. When you use the student dashboard we record your lesson progress, quiz attempts and resource downloads. When you pay, Paystack processes your payment details; we receive only a transaction reference, status, amount and the email used.
2. How we use it
To create and maintain your account, grant and verify course access, provide support, send transactional emails such as receipts and access confirmations, and improve the programme. We do not sell your personal information.
3. Payment data
Card and bank details are handled entirely by Paystack under their own security standards. We never see or store full payment credentials.
4. Cookies and analytics
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in, and may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages and lessons are useful. Analytics data is aggregated and not used to identify individuals.
5. Data retention
Account, enrolment and payment records are retained for as long as required for accounting, tax and dispute-resolution purposes. You may request deletion of your account, subject to those obligations.
6. Your rights
You may request a copy of your data, correction of inaccurate details, or deletion of your account by writing to support@e-commacademy.online.
7. Security
Access to student data is restricted, transmitted over encrypted connections, and protected by authentication and database-level access rules. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
